Lettuce has a well-known reputation for laying down heavy grooves and taking any party they’re at to the next level. ![]() GHOSTNOTE MONONEON SERIESThe well-known jazz/funk powerhouse Lettuce has joined forces with the hip-hop/world/jazz/funk group Ghost-Note for a series of shows this Thursday through Sunday. Catch both of these awesome bands at Visulite Theatre in Charlotte, NC (01/08), Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, NC (01/09), Charleston Pour House in Charleston, DC (01/10), and Asheville Music Hall in Asheville, NC (01/11). Grab your tickets now before these events sell out. Brad Parsons and his band will open each evening with a set of Psychedelic/Americana-Rock to set the mood and get everyone loosened up. Jay Cobb is on lead guitar and vocals, Kellen Asebroek plays rhythm guitar, keys and sings as well, Mimi Naja sings, and plays mandolin and guitar, Jeff Leonard keeps things steady on the bass, and Tyler Thompson lays down the beat, playing the banjo on occasion as well. Either way, they are up for a good time and always bring the boogie. Fruition’s music spans a broad spectrum, but they have loosely classified themselves as a folk-rock/Americana/blues/soul group.
